CHAPTER HISTORY

The Cape Cod Chapter was chartered in September of 2000 with 12 members from various organizations.

To date there are 30 members of the Cape Cod Chapter.

Since it's inception, the Chapter has continued to strive for excellence and put into action creative ways to promote the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) to individuals and businesses on Cape Cod and the Islands.  Our chapter members are active in the community and the chapter has donated time and raised funds for a variety of local charities.

In 2005-2006 the chapter launched its first website, formed a study group for the certification exams, opened an exam site in Hyannis and established a scholarship fund.

The Cape Cod Chapter meets on the second Thursday of the month, unless otherwise noted and holds an Administrative Professionals Week Event in April. Membership is open to all administrative support staff of Cape Cod and the Islands.
